One child ended up in juvenile jail because of stealing a scooter two years later. A child cant choose his parents but schools and teachers can do a lot to offer these students a social safety net. Schools are not factories where the only important outcome is the score of a test. A child is not just a potential monetary commodity. Perhaps in the future of educational programs YOGA can be included. Im convinced that especially the ADHD and ADD students would benefit from this exercise because Ritalin, a very controversial medical drug for ADHD and ADD is a very popular tool to subdue and control the behavior of these children here in Taiwan.
