ברוך דיין האמת Zaida, MY Zaida, Rabbi Bernhard- what a zchut to be called one of your many grandchildren. This world has lost a very special soul, a light which touched so many in a a gentle sweet way, filled with Torah and Chassidus. you have taught us all what Shlichut means- giving of oneself completely to others while making sure not to forget your family and yourself. and that it is ongoing and never ending. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend some time with you last month, to get to know a different side of you. i remember how worried I was before our trip- scared that it would be too hard that I wouldnt recognize you, but i was wrong. You were there and so sweet and so content with life- all you wanted was to be surrounded with your family. You were asked a while ago what you wanted from Israel and your only answer was Maayan, I am so glad that i was able to bring her to you! Zaida its erev Yom Kippur and you have left us to go sit next to Malchei Hamlachim while this next year is sealed. Olam Haba has received a special Neshama! We love you and miss you and will cherish every story and joke and song!!! תהא נשמתך צרורה בצרור החיים!
