It aims to exert all efforts to improve the quality of life for patients with cancer and chronic diseases, through providing palliative care services for them and their families, as itis an essential human rights. Al-Sadeel is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern for the Financial Department.This is a skills-building internship in which interns will get an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a non-for-profit Finance department of a mission-driven organization. Mainlearning topics you will work on include: • Dailywork similar to an entry-level Financial assistant • Preparingand posting journal entries • Calculating depreciationand managing fixed assets; • Learn Ledger closing, track information and generate monthly reports; • Preparingend of month reconciliations; • Payrollcalculation including accounting for tax, severance and other deductions • Assist with monthly cash flow and budget management preparation; • Exposure to external audit testing & documentation • Additional responsibilities with ad-hoc projects. Qualifications • Must be a fresh Graduate with at least a 2.5 (=75) GPA; • Have a degree in Business Administration, accounting, finance or similar discipline; • Must be a resident of Bethlehem district; • Demonstrated commitment to Al-Sadeel mission and values; • Strong attention to detail, process-oriented, and self-motivated; • Good organizational and communication skills in both Arabic and English; • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Duration of internship: 5-10 months depending on interest and time dedicated. This is an unpaid internship, but it is designed to be a great learning experience. You can volunteer as full time or part time bases for at least 20 hours per week.
