تعلن شركة المواهب الاردنيه للتوظيف عن توفر فرصة العمل التاليه في شركة امريكيه في العراق Job opportunity at American company in Iraq Position : Cost Control Engineer / Quantity Surveyor / E&C Construction Accountant Overview The Cost Control Engineer / Quantity Surveyor / Engineering & Construction Accountant’s foremost responsibility is to ensure project execution within allocated budget, forecast and plan project cash flow, handle commercial issues ranging from payments, change orders, variations and claims while adhering to company International’s (ASC+CI) business practices, environmental and construction safety guidelines. Essential Functions The essential functions of the Cost Control Engineer / Quantity Surveyor / Engineering & Construction Accountant are as follows: Understand the procurement requirements of the Client. Review of Cost Plan/ Prepare Monitor and Control of Project Budget. Review cost estimates for actual and potential variations at all stages of the project. Prepare various commercial reports to the Client. Contribute to the monthly progress report on cost related issues. Review and verify payment application and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Keep track and report periodically on cash flows and earned value etc. Prepare and maintain Payment Status and Change Management logs Review and verify the consultant Deployment Schedule and ensure compliance with the approved budget. Assist in evaluation of contractual claims Perform cost management activities in accordance with the contract requirements. Provide the Project Controls / Planning Engineer with commercial information through estimating and budgeting, risk management, interpretation of project information, change proposals and variance order analysis, trending and forecasting. Support project team to ensure costs are controlled within budget and authority, and that cost control is maintained from inception to completion. Proactively identify changes that have a commercial implication and ensure that project changes are tracked and reported through the trend process. Assist in prequalification and tender administration Prepare and present cost engineering information to the Client and ASC+CI project team. Perform other duties as assigned. On the job training and mentoring of Client personnel is required. Minimum Requirements 8 – 12 years of progressive experience in lead cost engineering positions handling cost control/ cost management of major projects throughout all project phases preferably with international cost consultancy, contractor or project management company. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Accounting, Construction Management, Project Management. Masters degree in Project Management or Business Administration considered an advantage. Certified cost consultant by AACE or equivalent considered an advantage PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) considered an advantage Housing, Transport, Security: While stationed in Iraq staff are provided secure housing accommodation, food, internet, laundry, television and transportation.
