تعلن شركة المواهب الاردنيه للتوظيف عن توفر فرصة العمل التاليه في شركة امريكيه في العراق Job opportunity at American company in Iraq Position : Contract Manager Overview The Contract Managers foremost responsibility is to ensure minimum exposure to risks for company Corporation, the Client and the Project. This role requires that all contractual issues ranging from tendering, contract documentation, payments, change orders, claims, disputes are handled and resolved in a timely manner enabling the project to complete within schedule, budget, and quality while adhering to company business practices, environmental and construction safety guidelines. Essential Functions The essential functions of the Contract Manager are as follows: Meet with Client to understand the Client’s requirements. Understand and manage the procurement requirements of the Client. Oversight the development and preparation of tendering and contract documents. Oversight the preparation of pre-qualification documents for different types of contracts. Administer development of Pre-qualification and Tendering exercises. Supervise the technical and commercial evaluations of Tenders and Pre-qualifications Assist in the award of contracts, manage, administer, and supervise awarded contracts Review and verify contractual documents and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Ensure bonds, guarantees and insurances are valid and in place and advise on extension of policies / bond when required Provide support service when required in “interpretation of contract” during the course of the contract and ensure its close-out is in accordance with established procedures Ensure timely and prompt service of all notices required by the contract. Provide contractual guidance to Team members and ensure compliance issues are escalated as necessary Advise Client of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information Progress claims and contractual matters Protect Client from unnecessary contract liabilities, damages, penalties, etc… Contract review during tender stage to identify and mitigate risk issues Ensure recommendations for payment is consistent with contract terms. Identify, eliminate or minimize contractual claims and resolve contractual disputes. Minimum Requirements 12 years of progressive experience as a contract manager /administrator leading and administering major projects throughout all project phases preferably with international contracting and/or consultancy company. Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying. Master in project management or business administration-an advantage. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MRICS (Member Royal Institute of Chartered surveyors) or equivalent Housing, Transport, Security: While stationed in Iraq staff are provided secure housing accommodation, food, internet, laundry, television and transportation.
