I won’t remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations.” The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny. الذئب و الحمل حكايات إيسوب التقى الذئب بحمل ضل عن قطيعه و قرر أن يحاول إقناع الحمل بحقه في التهامه بدلا من مبادرته بالعنف، فخاطبه قائلا: هل تعلم يا سيدي أنك وجهت لي إهانة بالغة في العام الماضي؟ " حقا؟" قال الحمل بنبرة معتذرة" لكنني لم أكن قد ولدت بعد حينها." لكن الذئب استأنف قائلا: " و لكنك تغذيت في المرعى الخاص بي " " لا أيها السيد الطيب " قال الحمل" لم أكن قد تذوقت العشب بعد في ذلك الوقت" اتهمه الذئب ثانية :" و لكنك شربت من بئري" "لا" قال الحمل بحزم" لم أكن قد شربت الماء قط في ذلك الحين .. كان حليب أمي غذائي و شرابي " انقض عليه الذئب و التهمه قائلا: " حسنا ، لن أصبر لوقت طويل حتى لو دحضت كل التهم التي سأنسبها لك ." (يجد المستبد دوما ذريعة لاستبداده)
