وظيفة منسق مشاريع Psychosocial Support and Education Projects Coordinator - الإغاثة الإسلامية - غزة Islamic Relief is a humanitarian INGO (irpal.ps) operating in Palestine in the fields of emergency relief and long-term development. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancy for its office in Gaza. Title: Psychosocial Support and Education Projects Coordinator Ref:PSC-CW-15-2014 Location:Gaza Office Contract:Two years, renewable. Overall Responsibilities -Manage the implementation of IRPAL psychosocial support and education projects in adherence to IRPAL policies and practices, and ensure implementing the projects activities guided by IRPAL vision and the projects goals towards achieving the anticipated results. -Overall management of the project scope, time (planning and scheduling), cost (budget), quality, and other aspects of project management in collaboration with program team and supporting departments. -Participate in producing job descriptions, recruiting, assigning tasks and responsibilities, supervising and developing and evaluating the project teams. -Prepare high quality results-based reports as per IR and donors requirements. -Ensure project documentation and visibility in collaboration with communication department. -Provide technical support and supervision for project teams and key stakeholders in psychosocial support and education projects. -Effectively participate in identifying, designing, and implementing/supervising specialized capacity building programs for the local partners (CBOs practitioners, schools counselors and teachers, etc.), as well as supervise in implementing the related project activities (psychosocial support and awareness sessions) towards achieving the project goals including setting monitoring systems. -Supervise the process of identifying and implementing relevant organizational capacity building for CBOs (strategic planning, community needs assessment, fundraising, project management, etc.) to maximize their effectiveness and sustainability -Supervise the process of design and dissemination of operational manuals for school counselors in relevant areas of psychosocial counseling. -Carry out needs assessment and research studies of the target groups (children, orphan and their surrounding environment) and design proper interventions. -Represent IRPAL in front of relevant stakeholders, clusters and other networks related to child care, and education, and participate effectively in coordination meetings. -Identify and keep effective communications with key stakeholders and maximize their involvement during projects life time. Candidates must possess the following competencies: -University Degree in psychology, education, development, or related field (Master’s degree is desirable). -Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in similar projects, preferably with INGOs which must include project management. -Experience of developing links with NGOs; INGOs, government agencies& other stakeholders. -Depth understanding of national and international issues in particular in relation to community development. -Experience of and commitment to participatory management and maintaining a supportive, open environment to ensure the learning and development of all staff. Skills required for the position: -Strong planning and coordination skills -Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken). -Very good technical reporting skills. -Good interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, sensitivity to other peoples’ views and perspectives, and conflict resolution. -An ability to work under pressure with limited support. -Computer skills, especially in financial applications. -Committed to IRPAL values and code of conduct.
