एहिं कलिकाल न साधन दूजा । जोग जग्य जप तप ब्रत पूजा ॥ रामहि सुमिरिअ गाइअ रामहि । संतत सुनिअ राम गुन ग्रामहि ॥ Ehi kalikāl na sādhan dujā | joga jagya japa tapa brata pujā || Rāmahi sumiria gāia rāmahi | samtata sunia rāma guna grāmahi || In this age of Kali no other discipline is of any avail - neither Yoga(mind-control) nor sacrifices, nor Japa (muttering of prayers) not austere penance nor any sacred vows nor ritual: Rama alone should be remembered, Rama alone should be glorified; and it is the catalogue of Ramas virtues alone that should be given ear to.
