News: Thousands of Bangladshi high school grads failed to qualify for the Central Universitys English Dept seats!Only two students passed for the 150 seats on offer! I doubt whether these thousands would pass in any foreign language test including Hindi which they watch, listen every day; Arabic which they use for prayers every day!I also doubt their proficiency in their own parents tongue!Whereas in every major global language and literature dept, students are required to take at least one other international language, in Bangladesh Bengali literature students only Study Bengali!These students become big time policy makers through civil service and impose their insularity on the already impoverished children! Change the policy makers before failing the children!Stop funding in two tier education system that is Madrassa and so called modern system!Bring the Madrassa children into the fold of modern system!Also stop draining the hard earned resources into the private and NGO education system!Stop confusing the children! যারা ফেল করালো; পরিক্ষক, শিক্ষক, গবেষক, সম্পাদক, সাংবাদিক, শিল্পি, সাহিত্যিক, রাজনিতিক নামের সেই জালিয়াতগুলাকে কারা পাশ করায়েছিল?আমার ঈ, ঊ, ণ গাফিলতি ধরায়ে দিয়ে নিজেদের চামড়া আরো মোটা করিয়েন না!.... বাংলা একাডেমির ফেলো শব্দবন্ধটা পিছলায় গিয়ে আবার বাংলা একাডেমির ফেলুতে না গড়ায়!
