The crowd was addressed by George Galloway. He said, “They want to end the Palestinian people, but the Palestinians will never surrender. We are here to stay. As long as one Palestinian remains alive we will be with them.” In Paris, France, police ban was imposed over the protesters. The route of the protesters was blocked by the police and so the police and the protesters got in a clash with each other. The protesters threw rocks and bottles at the police squad and so the response was the tear gas. The ban according to Hollande was to preserve the public order” imposed only in Paris and so the demonstrators moved to other cities to demonstrate. In Auckland’s Aotea Square, New Zealand, to protest the Israeli invasion in Gaza. The crowd have been urging to shut down the Israeli embassy in New Zealand. Global Peace and Justice Auckland, the Palestine Human Rights Campaign, Kia Ora Gaza, the Mana Movement, and the Unite union participated in the protest. The crowd marched down to the Queen street waving Palestinian flags and raising various banners. In Cairo, Egypt, supporters of former Egyptian president, Mohammed Morsi as well as members of his now outlawed Muslim Brotherhood marched against “Israeli aggression” and accused Arab governments for not protecting the Palestinian people. In Frankfurt, Germany, more than 2,000 people participated in the protest. The protesters were waving Palestinian flags and wearing t-shirt calling off for ban on Israeli products. The protesters tricked the police by saying the would use the megas phones to keep calm the crowd but they used it to shout slogans like, “Allah Akbar (Allah Is Great)” and “Child murderer Israel.” In Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Federation of Palestine Entities, the Committee of Solidarity with Palestine and other human rights groups gathered at the Israeli embassy to protest at the rising death toll of Palestinians by the Israeli’s. In Sydney, Australia, around 3,000 people demonstrated outside the city’s Town Hall, shouting “Free, free Palestine; free, free Gaza” and holding signs declaring “Shame Israel Shame.” In Indonesia, about 500 people marched in the capital Jakarta shouting “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) and carrying Palestinian flags and posters of children killed in the offensive. In Hong Kong, around 300 protesters protested holding banners with the Israeli flag with the star of David replaced by a swastika.
