মৃত্যুর পর : মদিনায় বিরাট ভুল - মুফাস্সিল ইসলাম Though in Latin AD denotes to ” It is an abbreviation for “Anno Domini,” which means The Era of the Lord and apparently modern day Christians are trying hard not to denote this to death - the main problem lies in the calculation of Jesuss birth and resurrection at Easter. The Christian world is already in trouble with these calculations as they do not match with Jesuss birth and alleged crucifixon. So this new propaganda of Lord Era is being circulated to make this acceptable to non-Christians - especially to Muslims. But if you look closely you will see that an Era has a beginning and an ending. How does an era end? How did Jesuss era end in Christian belief ? With his alleged death. But we Muslims do NOT believe in this death and we rather believe that Hazrat Eisa (pbh) will come back and finish his task..so the era is yet to be completed. Some chronologists, geologists and anthropologists object to time being anchored to any kind of Christian or religious benchmark. Instead of using the term A.D. they prefer to use the phrase “Common Era,” abbreviated “C.E.” Likewise, in place of B.C., which refers to the time “Before Christ,” they favor labeling that era “B.C.E.,” meaning “Before the Common Era.” Thus, C.E. is generally equivalent to A.D. and B.C.E. is generally equivalent to B.C. You will not find a single reference that AD does not mean passing away of Jesus before a few decades ago. AD or the era does refer to Jesuss ending as well.
