To get recognition of products a fair is held. So is the case with book fair. Nowadays book fairs are well-known to most of the people both in villages and towns. A book fair is a display of a great stock of books of various interests. Every year many book fairs are held in different places of our country. In the national days such as 21st February, 16th December , 26th march and also in the new year book fairs are arranged. The two main book fairs held in our country are the Ekushey Boi mela and the Dhaka boi Mela .A Book fair is very much popular for the book lovers. .Readers can purchase their desired books. Authors also meet their favorite readers. Recently I visited the book fair arranged by the Bangla Academy on 21st February . Every where there was a festive look. Various publication companies hire A college Magazine A College Magazine is a magazine which is published by a college periodically. It is a mirror of a college both inner and outer. It gives the students and the teachers a great opportunities to bring out their creative power. In fact it is a part and parcel of a college. It gives a student an opportunity to express his hidden feelings. The students and the teachers can also be expressed by it. Poems, stories, jokes, one act play, riddles written by the students and teachers of a certain college are generally found in it. The editor organizes the whole work. He first invite writings from the eager students and teachers. After collecting the writings he selects the best writings and send it to the press for printing. At last a magazine is published. Our College Library The word “Library” has been derived from the Latin word “libre” which means book. So a college library means a library that collects and preserve books for its students and teachers. A library is a part and parcel of a college. Almost every college has a library. Similarly we have also a college library in our college premises. Our college library is a very specious room on the ground floor of our academic building. Our library has a very rich collection of books of different subjects. There are novels, fictions, story books, poetry books, plays and text related books. There are also many journals and magazines in our library. All the books are arranged a very systematic way. We have a librarian madam who is in charge of it. The atmosphere of our library is very calm and quite. Students read books on their own choice. The library also issues books for students. A student can borrow books from the library. It contributes a lot to the academic and intellectual development of a student. Thus our college library helps us a lot to increase our store house of knowledge. A winter morning Winter is a season of mist and cold. In our country winter is very pleasant and enjoyable. A winter morning has a very special characteristics than the other mornings. It is usually misty, calm, cold, dull and dismal. The sun can hardly be seen early in the morning. The sky and the earth becomes a new realm in which all things seem mysterious. Men and animals tremble with cold. People putting on warm clothes come out oh their house to bask in the sun. Village people gather straw and make fire to gather and mitigate their coldness. Many kinds of delicious food are available in a winter morning such as pitha, payesh, date juice etc. A winter morning is fearful to the poor people because sometimes they do not have a warm clothes. Those who are poor can not enjoy a winter morning. A street hawker- A man who earns his livelihood by hawking in the street is called a street hawker. A day laborer- A man who earns his livelihood by earning laboring on the basis of daily payment is called a day laborer. A garments worker- A man who earns his livelihood by working in the garments is called a garments worker. Tokai- A boy or a girl who wonders in the street in search of something that have a minimum value is called a tokai. A railway porter- A person who is seen in the rail station carrying goods is called a railway porter. A self employed person is a great asset to a society. ----- is a self employed person in our society. -------------. He is quite familiar in the society. His living condition is not good. Most of them live in slum or a small hut. As his income is very little , he has to maintain his family through much hardship. He has no belonging of his own. He has to work hard from dawn to dusk. Like wise is such one will beautify my memory. A few days ago, I had the scope to enjoy the feast and festivities that were provided on the occasion of — ceremony. A big pandal or samiana above was created. A big and tastefully designed gate was made at the entrance of the pandal. In the evening the whole place was decorated with multi colored bulbs. The whole place was jam-packed with the guests. Some were singing, some were cutting jokes, some were clicking their cameras to take photos. I also took some photos of some rare moments. In fact all spent some enjoyable moments their. We all were entertained there. It was a source of great joy to us. I will never forget the day. The memory of the day will haunt my mind for ever. Wonder of modern science / Radio/ Computer / Mobile Phone Modern science is nothing but a skilled magician. One after one it is providing the mankind with wonder. It has absolutely conquered many indomitable force of nature. It has gifted us many inventions. is one of them. In fact the invention is one of the magnificent achievements that has made life meaningful. It is because of the invention of by which our life has become meaningful. When such people become large in number they create problem. 9. Corruption- Corruption means taking unfair means to achieve something illegally. 10. Terrorism- Terrorism means such activities which create fear or terror. 11. Price hike- Price hike means the unusual increase in the price of daily necessaries. has become a common incident in our daily life. Everyday we find such alarming news in the daily newspapers. However it is not God gifted but man made. It is causing various kinds of problems. (In fact it has turned to be a social problem.) It is growing out of control day by day. Many problems are created for it —. In fact we cannot think a happy and care free life foe it. The people have to suffer a lot for it. Its bad effect can better be understood than described. Many people are victim of this curse. It demolishes peace in normal life. It Decays the standard of normal life. Bangladesh is lagging behind in all sectors for it. So this problem must be exposed so that we may come forward as prosperous nation. People have to be very careful about it One thing should be kept in mind that it is we who are the main villain to rise up this problem. So it is our soul duty to solve this problem. It is high time the government as well as the individual took necessary steps to get rid of this problem.
