Answer :- If someone like Cho. Ramasamy or Dr. Subramaniam Swamy had written the mentioned article, nobody would have bothered about it. People are fuming because it was written by the most respected Tamil blog writer Badri Sir. Badri Sir was known and advertised as a person who thinks and writes without any bias and often stands at the center point of the center. Though few people often question him about his extreme right wing RSS background and his silent support to RSS manipulators and few people had even gone to the extend that his publishing company is the camp of RSS , I still thought that he is a man without any bias.. I read the article, yes it was usual cunning writing and twisting of what Brahmins have been doing it for years to create sympathy and hold the power on. It was like Jewish people complaining in the US stating we do not have any power. I was a bit angry seeing an icon biting the dust. Then for a second I paused my thoughts, started seeing from different perspective. In Tamil Nadu every community/caste has a leader or manipulator. Though most of the persons in Brahmin community are leaders and manipulators Badri seems to want to unite those leading voices and become the leader of the leaders. It was like popular translated short story teller Sujatha who wrote Ayothya Mandapam some years ago in which he exposed himself as a proud Brahmin. Thinkers say , translator Sujatha was not so keen into politics. Badri case is not the same. When someone whose age is on his side, well educated, soft spoken , everything above having RSS backbone support, Badris idea of coming up openly with his Manu Dharma - ideology is not wrong. Then, who is wrong?. Those who took references from Badris arguments and religiously quoted against Social Justice people/leaders. They all feel cheated and ashamed now (including me). I had seen the glimpses of Badris inclination towards RSS-Brahmnical ideology. Few weeks ago there was a person asked in Badris wall about his TV program in which mostly he interviews Brahmin Elites. Badri did not reply but deleted the comment with in few minutes. Usually Badri speaks for freedom of expression. That was indeed a shock for me. We should say to Badri that nobody in Tamil Nadu is ill-treating Brahmins, actually it is the other way around. Tamil Sudras do not believe most of the Brahmins because they take U turn at anytime at their convenience and back stab like he did. In nobodys dictionary lack of faith is not ill-treatment. Some people may come with an argument. Badri never have Brahmnical Oppressive ideology, but he wrote that article to create a shock value to give an additional advertisement for his Book Publishing company. Either way his modus operandi is unethical. As a token of opposition , from today I stop using Badris home grown Free Tamil typing software and stop promoting it to other people. They should be allowed to retain multiple identities -that of a brahmin, a Tamil and an Indian -with pride. in this Badris sentence , he forgot to mention RSS. Perhaps he would have thought most of the Brahmins are RSS idoelogical and missed to mention. I wish bad luck to Badris political ambitions because it will definitely be worse to 97% of Tamils.
