Muscat - Visa issuance and visa renewal fees for foreign residents in Oman have been hiked following a decision issued by ROP. In a decision (137/2014) issued by Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shuraiqi, Inspector General for Police and Customs, on October 22, the ROP has amended some provisions of the Regulations of the Foreigners Residence Law. Based on the Foreigners Residence Law, issued by Royal Decree 16/95, and its Regulations issued by ROP decision 63/96, the amendment has been made to Article 29 of the regulations for resident visa fees as well as the renewal fees.
