Clandius අධිරාජ්යදයාගේ කාලයේ රෝමයට පැමිණි සිංහල රාජ දුතයන් සිංහලයන්ගේ මුතුන් මිත්තන් ඉන්දියාව සහ එවරස්ට් කන්ද හරහා චීනයට නැව් ගමනාගමනය පටන් ගන්නට බොහෝ කලකට පෙර සිට ගමන් කල බව කියා තිබේ. එමෙන්ම කි. ව. 5 වැනි පසු කාලින යුගයේදීත් සිලෝනයේ රජ ගේ ප්ර කාශය සිය නියෝජිතයා විසින් චීන අධිරාජයාට කියන විට එම මාර්ග 2ම (මුහුදු සහ ඉන්දියාව එවරස්ට් කන්ද හරහා යන පයින් ගමන් මාර්ගය) එම යුගය වන විටත් භාවිතා කල බව දක්වා තිබේ.
