After being kenneled in such a tense environment for over a month, and having her puppies SPAY ABORTED its no wonder why Nunu has begun to show signs of the stress around her. Who knows why one dog is barely given any time to find an adopter while another is given a month. Was it perhaps that Nunu was a delightful favorite amongst the staff? Or perhaps they felt the guilt of RIPPING HER UNBORN PUPS FROM HER WOMB! For whatever reason Nunu has begun to pace & pant obsessively, even when she has a brief chance for a breath of fresh air. Its been suggested that she only be adopted by an experienced owner without young children. Instead of looking for an adopter or addressing her anxieties, the shelter has decided that it’s easier to kill her tomorrow. This whole saga reeks of inhumanity as well as incompetence. The only way to save Nunu’s life is if we find a foster or adopter, Nunu is available on the public risk list. Let’s start sharing her right now or better yet SAVING HER LIFE so she doesnt face the same fate as her pups. Her owner identified her a few days later, but never came back to pick her up! :( She can be shy when you first meet her, but really warms up once she gets to know you. Right after she was brought to BACC, Nunu used to give me a low wag when I approached her kennel, but now she excitedly dances around when I go visit her!
