PLEASE READ AND HELP!**Coconut is quite sick in a symptomatic sense as we don’t what or how serious her illness is. As sick as Coconut is - well she’s 100 times sweeter. This darling girl’s head and neck are uncomfortably swollen to the extent that Coconut has a tough time eating. At 50-pounds she is painfully thin & suffering as well from diarrhea. The shelter vet doesn’t know whether Coconut was stung by a bee, or snake or other allergen. The NYC ACCs answer to this mystery is to put her on the euth list and let her take her chances at either getting some help or dying tomorrow. Coconut is a shy and gentle girl who even seems reliable around other strange dogs. The shelter has recommended her for an average family - even a family that is new to dogs. Obviously Coconut needs medical help urgently. We need to do more than to protest the taking of this lovely girl’s life.
