South Koreans have gathered to protest against the National Intelligence Services’ intervention in the presidential election from last December. According to the investigation by the prosecution the NIS agents did a large scale, online smear campaign against the opposing candidates and tried to promote the candidate of the ruling party leading up to the presidential election in December, 2012.
