---------------------------------- SESSION: 14/12/14 --------------------------------- CUBS this week had a fantastic time learning about our blessed Prophet Jesus / Isa (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him). We went through his miraculous story and learnt many great lessons; including the differences between the Quranic and Biblical versions and the great virtue in following people of nobility. Our session ended with a team based activity, completing a jigsaw based on the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)...with a Scouts twist ofcourse! We reflected on his life and what could be learnt; from leadership and communication to piety and respect for the disabled. [Bagheera - Cub Assistant Leader] ================================= BEAVERS this week were putting the finishing touches on their Diorama Projects. Whilst expressing their creativity and craftwork skills, they were all gaining essential knowledge on one of the Pillars of Islam, Hajj. The groups were split between the following themes, and have to make a model and present the story behind it: -The Day of Arafah; -Masjid al Haram & The Tawaaf; -The Well of Zam Zam & Saffa Marwa; -Cave of Hira & The Qurans Revelation Presentations will be the week after next....lets see what the Beavers have taken onboard and can muster up!
