---COULD THIS BE LOVE???--- As I overheard a girl who narrated her ordeal with the boyfriend, I laughed. Love means so different things to most of us, sometimes you marvel what people take to be love. I love the way my boyfriend beats me and hits me hard Chichi smiled as she narrated some moments in her relationship to her friends. My boyfriend is very mad, he loves beating me silly and even pulling off some bits of my hair, but I never cared because I think he loves me. I never walk away, any time he is back to his senses, he always come begging, and that is the point I love most. It makes love sweeter. She stated. I laughed, laughed and laughed hard, what kind of sick love is this one?, could this one still be love or something else?, I dont know what love means to you, to so many people out there it means a lot of things to them. Take Chichi for instance, the boyfriend beat her silly and yet she liked it and called it love. While other girls are peacefully protesting that men should not be hitting them around like a piece of wood, this girl liked it and felt its love. This kind of situation Chichi painted, was the one that would make most average nigerian girls storm out of a relationship and term it hell!. Slap a girl and lose her, if this one happened abroad, the cops would come for your damned ass. But Chichi maintained, I love it when my boyfriend beat me, each time he beat me, he came begging and that made our love sweeter. Absurd as it may sound, I refuse to be a judge on this one, because love means different things to different people, different strokes for different folks they say, but before these ones are freed and vindicated, could this be love?
