-*Couple pleads guilty to injuring child*- On July 28, Faith McDaniel and Robert Rumback both pleaded guilty to their role in the abuse of McDaniel’s 5 week-old child in January, and entered a plea agreement in regards to their sentencing. In Jasper County Superior Judge James Ahler’s court, both McDaniel and Rumback went before Judge Ahler, entering a plea agreement in which they agreed to plead guilty to a new charge of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting In Bodily Injury, a Class C felony, with their original charge of Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury to a Child Less than 14 years-old, a Class B felony, being dismissed. sherri Morrison Jasper County Sheriff
