- Daniel Agger joined Liverpool on January 2006 from Brondby. He made over 200 appearances for Liverpool . He was named Liverpool Vice Captain since 2013. * Agger a Real loyal player. Im indeed very happy that once again he has chosen Loyalty over Money by joining Brondby, his home club. His Loyalty amaze me, He is the most loyal player Ive ever known though there is also Gerrard and so on but for me, he is an emblem of Loyalty, I have no words to describe his Loyalty..(Y) ABSOLUTE RESPECT ! We have been very lucky to have had such a player who played for Liverpool. Its a real Privilege that at he was part of Liverpool and will always be a Liverpool fan, he is neither money minded nor glory hunter at all, as he stayed at Liverpool when top, affluent, prestigious clubs across Europe wanted him. he showed his Loyalty by tattooing [[YNWA]] on his Knuckles. * So as it stands, Martin Skrtel being ruled out for 1 month and Agger left for Brondby, this leaves Brendan Rodgers with 4 CBs (Toure, Coates, Lovren and Mamadou Sakho) and 4 competition to play, the Capital One Cup, The Fa Cup, The Epl and the Champions League with just 4 CBs. I ask myself what Rodgers will do - Anyway trust him people/fans says, so I trust and see what happens. In Champions League, ZERO EXPERIENCE at the back, the manager himself, 2 only Experienced players are Super Mario and Gerrard (also Skrtel but currently he is injured) so we can see the Likes of Lovren being paired with Sakho leading the defense, lets see how far Liverpool goes with this defense in the Champions League. Me personally I thought that in the CL we can see Skrtel and Agger as CBs but that wont be possible now..:/ I still remember what Dagger said when Liverpool failed to qualified for the CL some five years ago Here and Now, I really want to play Champions League again with Liverpool.. Now we are in the CL after 5 years and unfortunately The Danish Wall is no longer at Liverpool..:/ Huhh He and Skrtel are the most experienced defenders that Liverpool have. * For the Vice-captaincy of the club I would personally go for Martin Skrtel, he can lead the team in the absence of Steven Gerrard and also he had been at the club since a long time (2008 I think) after The Dagger, he is my Favorite player at Liverpool..;) * Ive said this in my previous posts and is still adamant with it that BR will regret one day or another for selling Agger.Mark my words. Keeping the likes of Coates and Toure and selling Agger, I just hope its not a foolish act by the manager. * Damn damn sad today, the whole weekend got spoiled by the news of Agger departure but Im happy for him as he is not among those players who just wanna sit and warm the bench and not playing Instead he want to play and proves himself and definitely at Brondby he will get his place and game time in the starting 11. * I am a die-hard fan of The Great Dane since he joined Liverpool and will always support him irrespective of the club he plays. He is someone who plays with his heart and always gives the best out of him. He was, is and will Always be my favorite Player and best defender of all time for me. * Wish you all the very best for the future Daniel Agger with loads loads of Success. * JUST MY OPINION...and thanks for reading this long post on my favorite player and also the favorite of many here, DANIEL AGGER.
