- My response to those defending Desean Jackson.. from a logical perspective. I agree in that it is wrong to assume and vilify a man based on hearsay. However, a man has the responsibility to project an outer image that is congruent with his inner image. DJack threw up gang signs on the field and on social media.. those are facts.. but that does not mean he is that. His teammates know that, he knows that, his family knows that.. but the media, the team administration, the fans.. they have no clue. They see what is advertised. If I walk around throwing up hail Hitler gestures and post pictures of myself online doing the same thing would it be logical to believe that I am a neo-Nazi? It may not be true.. but I am showing through my actions that it is. And the only way I can disprove my affiliation is for a credible source to step forth and say I am not. This is a tough situation for buddy, I am confident that he will sign with a team soon.. I just wish guys would see the full perspective and how the system works and how players actions are magnified and not even set themselves up for question. As a pro athlete you are a target. Do whatever possible to not be made an example.
