-> Still a bit more to see and do here, but heres the scoop: Lilly has idiopathic scoliosis. This is a good thing because that means that everything developed properly in her back, theres nothing abnormal with her vertebra structure itself. This takes away any concerns of kidney or heart problems. The specialist seemed hopeful that this would resolve unassisted, but even if it doesnt her outlook doesnt involve the likelihood of surgery. In November well go in for more x-rays and if its gotten worse theyll use casts to correct the curve. Its 21 degrees now, a bit higher than they thought originally, but still low enough for monitoring! Hooray for good news!
