--Westside Barbell Testimonial Please Read--THANK YOU CHUCK! My name is Chuck Borden. I have been lifting since I was 18. I am 44 now. By the grace of God I am a cancer surviver. When I got the news, I knew I had to fight. I am a single dad raising my daughter alone. Keeping my strength up was very important. When you go through a health problem you look for things that give you hope. Thats where Louie Simmons and Westside Barbell come into the picture. I found something in the articles that gave me something to believe in, Substance! All the time, energy, and passion Louie has devoted to his conjugated system gave me hope in a program with substance. My treatments left me weak after each one. By using the Westside system I was able to keep my strength up. I had a nine hour surgery in December. I was told my hospital stay would be fourteen to twenty-one days. Because my strength stayed up before my surgery I was able to go home in Five days. My surgeon said in twenty years of doing this surgery, he had never sent anyone home that soon. Thank you Mr. Simmons for the vehicle to get me to my destination. Westside gave me ways to train around my weaknesses. When I was to weak to bench, I deloaded the weight. I didnt have to miss a day. One of the medications I was on caused neuropathy in my feet and hands. I used box squats to train around that weakness. That tells me that Westside is more than just a workout program. It has substance. Louis Simmons is a man of substance. Thats what stood out to me. I saw an article on Mr.Simmons where he went from Columbus, Ohio to Georgia to present Donnie Thompson with an award for his lifting achievements. He has helped so many people. He helped this ol boy all the way down in Alabama. The reason the Westside System is so successful is because it has substance, but more importantly the man behind Westside has substance.
