- for over 150 years there has been a Jeweller in Latrobe; Australias oldest jeweller. its been an interesting 12 years here for me, but now we say goodbye to the store, the only one latrobe has (and one of only 2 manufacturing bench jewellers in the area). but hey, maybe Latrobe will get a 9th hairdressing salon? on a related note, does anyone know of a reasonable place to rent in the latrobe/devonport area? no pokey flats, need space to put my work benches and (hopefully) my forge, or ill have to sell it. also, looking for work.... anyone want to employ a jeweller/blacksmith/craftsman? 14+ years experience....
