-A poem thing I wrote for this song- the waves crash over your head you suck sea water into your lungs and it tightens your throat so no words may come dont tell me you dont remember the fatigue of fighting the undertow and just wishing you would wash up to the sandy shore, seaweed and all. you know what its like to be lost, we were lost together once. maybe you dont understand it completely yet its okay if you let someone hold your hand sometimes its okay if you walk alone dearest. i will still be out there. hovering just before the drop off, right after the sandbar, you know where. you remember the things we shared there. maybe you want to forget.. im sorry i made you want to forget... but i wont be weak against the currents any more i think id much rather drown and know you made it back to the beach than hover here, unknowing of what awaits in the deep. maybe someday youll have the nerve to look back at me or to buy a submarine and go beneath those waves you feared so badly feared enough to sputter words i dont think you meant it my love. maybe youll come find me hovering right after the sandbar right before the drop off waiting for your familiar face to plant something like a kiss on my forehead to bury your face in my water filled body i dont think Ill be me any more by then maybe you wont be you either will that be okay? will you be okay? oh please send me a message in a bottle sometime soon. Ill send you my regards in the form of a breeze that carries you my scent that carries you my kisses and my tears in the form of saltwater and dunes. this.... this.... this is okay for now, love. this is okay for now. -CB
