-Just Thinking I think change in Policing in the United States should start from the top of the Chain of Command. All Police Departments in the United States receive grants or/and other funding from the Federal Government. I think the Federal Government should make it mandatory that all Police vehicles(marked/unmarked) have dashboard cameras installed. I also think it should be mandatory for every Officer to wear a body camera. When there is an Officer shooting that result in death then I think it should be protocol for The Department of Justice(Federal Government) to do their own separate investigation. In Police shooting deaths, Police Departments should not be responsible for investigating themselves. I also think the relationship between Police Departments and District Attorneys need to have Federal Government monitoring or over sight. Adding more Blacks to Ferguson Police Department cant happen soon enough but that would not change the bad behavior of some their White Officers. The Officers that racial profile and commit other bad acts must be held accountable. Until then they will continue to commit bad acts.
