... 01-18-2015 (This is a repeat from early today.) ● What do you think of Beethoven? ● His music can be rather annoying in certain ways of fragmentation and choppiness, with bursts of loudness, complete changes of melodic themes, moods, etc. (I think). ____ ● As a music major, I was privileged to play in the senior high school concert band--from my junior high years through high school. ● Of course the concert band played myriad and magnificent music arrangements of all the very great composers (it seemed to me). ● The Grand Junction High School Band...was highly accredited in all of Colorado. ____ ● Absolutely... one of my most favorite of all compositions, was this very short, spectacular and compelling overture by Blast-them-from-their-comfort-zones Mr. Beethoven, himself. ● It is titled the Egmont Overture. ● Its one of Beethovens very best. ____ ● At around 3.5 minutes into the piece, you will hear a litany of solo instruments in dialog--expressing life and being... ● Responding to the dynamic quality of life... ● As if in lifes springtime garden of growth, synergy, metamorphoses and evolution. ● This can be heard, considered and experienced by nearly everyone-- even if you are not schooled in music. ● This music is as Motherhood... to life in music. :) https://youtube/watch?v=YsI0yTC7bic
