»»»»02 die, 07injured in road mishaps Srinagar, 14 July: Two persons died while seven others were injured in different road traffic accidents across the valley. A Tipper bearing registration number 1253/01B hit a scooter at Naraspora bridge in the jurisdiction of police station Budgam, resulting in on spot death of the scooterist 22 years old Umer Rashid Kumar son of Abdul Rashid resident of Ompora, Budgam. Budgam Police has registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a platform truck bearing registration number JK01/8836 turned turtle at Wagabal, Thimbran, in the jurisdiction of Police station Achabal, Anantnag resulting in injuries to the driver. He was shifted to PHC Chittergul where he succumbed to his injuries. Achabal Police has registered a case in this regard. In another accident, seven persons were injured when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK096/1145, they were travelling in turned turtle near JK Cement Factory Khrew, in the jurisdiction station Pampore. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Pampore police has registered a case in this regard.
