07/08/14 Good Morning Peeps! Lets get to our virtual cup of Coffee.... Today is court day for Weaver. As I have said before, please show up for court if you are scheduled for court today. We spend way too much time and resources making arrests for folks that dont show up. Court begins at 9:00am. Overheard at the PD: Interview of a Thief...... Lt. Plitt: What did you do with the property after you had stolen it? Thief: I threw it all out of the car on Cedar Springs Rd. I was afraid yall were going to catch me. Lt. Plitt: So, you took the items you had just stolen, and then threw them out of the car right after you committed this theft because you thought you were going to get caught? Thief: yep Lt. Plitt: Can you show me exactly where you threw the items out? Thief: Yes sir..I can take you right to where I threw them out. Lt. Plitt: Lets go..Ill drive you to the area and you can show me. [ Now in the patrol car driving on Cedar Springs Rd]............ Lt. Plitt: Okay...we are on Cedar Springs road. How far do I go now? Thief: Im not real sure...it was dark [2 miles later]...... Lt Plitt: Okay...are we even close? you havent said anything yet. how much further do we go? Thief: I was waiting on you to tell me where you found it Lt. Plitt: We havent found it...thats why Im driving you around because you said you could take me to it. Thief: I did....I took you to Cedar Springs Rd.......this is where I threw it all out. Lt. Plitt: Im losing I.Q. points here. Talk about needing to be more specific! Case was eventually solved....suspect is in jail. Have a great day everyone! Lt. Plitt a.k.a.
