09/02/14: Today is the 50th anniversary of the wilderness act. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by great wilderness areas such as the Lee Metcalf, Absorka-Beartooth, North Absorka, Teton, and other wilderness areas in the ecosystem. So many folks in this country never get to experience a true wilderness setting, and truly wild areas. Lets hope these lands and others get to retain their wild characteristics. I know I could use some backcountry therapy right about now.
