09/19/2013 Posted on September 21, 2013 We have been very busy these last few days. We got up at 4:45 on the 16th, to get dressed, finish packing, eat a little breakfast and be ready to leave by 5:45. Pastor Michael was at the hotel at 4:45 and we left for Jokja. It took an hour and a half to get there and Pastor Michael couldn’t go into the airport with us so we said goodbye and Nancy and I ventured into the unknown. I was able to ask a young lady about which line to stand in and she told us where, but the sign overhead said it was for Jakarta. As we stepped up to the counter a man came from behind the counter and changed the sign to read Surabaya. We then had about an hour and a half to wait before boarding our plane. The plane ride itself was only an hour long and we were able to get our bags and go out to wait for our ride quickly. They took us to a really nice house where we are staying and we were able to rest for an hour. Then they picked us up again and we went to lunch with several other pastors including one from LA, and then to the elementary school. We ministered a short word to all the teachers after a good time of praise and worship and a little fun thing they did. Most of the teachers then left but we asked those who were pregnant to stay so we could pray over them. There were about six or seven of them. We gave a prophetic word to a few of them but prayed over them all. Then there were about six people from another part of their school ministry which stayed and we prayed and prophesied over them. They work with kids that come from poor families and who have very little. We then returned to the house to get ready for dinner. Pastor Andreas took us to a nice restaurant and we had good fellowship with everyone, then back to the house and sleep. We were both very tired. On Tuesday, the 17th, Pastor Andreas and his wife and son came to the house and we had breakfast together. Then we ministered to their son Kevin and to the lady of the house where we are staying. She is so precious. She wants to give us just about everything. We had talked to Lista, Pastor Andreas’ secretary about getting our clothes laundered and she had talked to our host. When we came home from ministering this afternoon she had already gone into our room to look for our dirty clothes and took them to the laundry. That is just one example of her generosity. After ministering to Kevin and Mira, we went to the junior and senior high school and began ministering to people. We spoke prophetically for two hours and then went to lunch and back to the house for a short rest. We then returned to the school and spoke prophetically for two more hours before returning to the house to get ready for dinner. Some of the prophetic words were really strong and many of the people were either excited or in tears. We saw hurts and wounds and ministered to each one as the Lord opened the door. We ministered to the head of the school and as we did the Lord showed me a fear of a physical problem. She said she had cancer 18 years ago but was okay now. I still prayed for the fear feeling that it was of the Lord. Later in the time with them another young lady came up and she had recently found out that she had a lump in her breast and was fearful. Suie said that is what I had been feeling. We prayed for her and then continued to minister to her and others. That evening as I was telling Pastor Andreas about it he told me a little of the story and that Suie had cancer at a time when her husband was running from God. God healed her miraculously when he started obeying God and became an associate pastor with Andreas. Now he has returned to his old job with a promotion and people are saying that Suie might get sick again. When he told me that I immediately knew what I was sensing as I was praying for her. On the 18th we once again had breakfast with Mira, Andreas, and some friends of Mira’s, Anto and Priscilla. We ministered to them and then returned to the school and ministered for two hours again. After lunch, Brother Andreas took Nancy home and Lydia took me back to the school where there were supposed to be only 6 more to minister to. That six turned into at least 16. I ministered to them all one by one for another two hours. Then at 4:00 p.m. Suie came in and I talked to her about what the Lord had shown me. She had tears in her eyes and admitted that some people had said that she might get sick again since her husband has left the ministry. I told her I didn’t believe that and that God was able to deal with him if he was out of God’s will. I also told her a little of our story about Daniel and what people said to us about it and said I simply rejected that and stood in faith. She was really encouraged. After our talk we went to her office to wait for the friend that would take me back to Mira’s house. When we left, Suie actually walked us downstairs, to the door, and stood on the porch until we started to drive off. I guess that is an indication of how God touched her. We had a good dinner tonight. Mira along with Pastor Andreas’ family, Anto and his wife, son and future daughter-in-law took us to a Korean bar-b-que. Of course before we could leave we had to minister to the son and future daughter-in-law. Now here we are back to the 19th. Today we are in Bali. Lista, Rebekah, Anto and Priscilla came with us. We will have two days here, though we wish it was more. We are staying in a really great hotel with a swimming pool that has many parts to it including a water fall and a place where a person can sit down in the water at a drink bar. I’ve tried to take a couple pictures but I don’t think it will really do justice. On the way to the hotel we stopped in an Indonesian restaurant where we sat under a roof, but it was completely open to the street with all the noise, heat, people, etc. After a short rest in the hotel we went to dinner and of course shopping.
