(1) - THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD ALSO, APART FROM THE FATHER AND JESUS. IF you are an Adventist who professed to believe in the BIBLE AND the writings of Mrs. White, and yet you do not believe that the Holy Spirit is GOD also, apart from the FATHER and JESUS, please re-think of your belief. (2) - THE BIBLE INFORMS US THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD ALSO. (a) - Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7 We are to be baptized in the name of these three divine beings. Who are they? … (1) The Father; (2) Jesus; (3) The Holy Spirit. These three divine beings make up the GODHEAD. (b) - Acts 5:1-5; Matthew 12:31-40 The Holy Spirit read the minds of Ananias and Sapphira of their sins of covetousness. They were slain to death by the Holy Spirit as a warning to the early Church which professed to believe in JESUS, because they sinned against the third person of the GODHEAD. (3) – MRS. WHITES WRITINGS ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT AS GOD #1 - The Holy Spirit ... must also be a divine person, else He could not search out the secrets which lie hidden in the mind of God. 1 Cor 2:11. Evangelism, pages 616-617. # 2 - “We need to realize that the Holy Spirit . . . is as much a person as God is a person.” -The Faith I Live By, p.52. # 3 - “The Holy Spirit has a personality, else He could not bear witness to our spirits and with our spirits that we are the children of God. He must also be a divine person, else He could not search out the secrets which lie hidden in the mind of God.” -Manuscript p 20- 1906. # 4 - The Holy Spirit is a person, for He beareth witness with our spirits that we are the children of God. When this witness is borne, it carries its own evidence....The Holy Spirit has a personality, else He could not bear witness to our spirits and with our spirits that we are the children of God. Evangelism, pages 616-617. # 5 - “There are THREE LIVING PERSONS of the heavenly TRIO; in the name of these THREE great powers – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Evangelism, p. 615. # 6 - “The GODHEAD was stirred with pity for the race, and the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit gave THEMSELVES to the working out of the plan of redemption.” Counsels on Health, p.222. {Gods Amazing Grace, July 01 – page 190}. CONCLUSION The Jews did not have a problem in believing that the Father is God. … However, they had a problem in accepting Jesus as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – (John 8:56-58; exodus 3:14). … Unfortunately, the Jews rejected Jesus as the second person of the GODHEAD – (John 5:18: 10:33; Mark 2:1-10). Since the Jews rejected Jesus and the Holy Spirit as separate divine beings (Gods) besides the Father, hence, they have never understood the meaning of Genesis 1:26 ( God said, “Let Us make man in OUR image ...” ) till today. The Jews still believe in ONE God which is the Father only; but not Jesus nor the Holy Spirit. I would rather believe in what the Bible and Mrs. White say about the Holy Spirit than any SDA theologian or professor in theology. HOPE YOU WILL NOT REJECT THE HOLY SPIRIT AS THE THIRD PERSON OF THE GODHEAD WHO IS GOING TO USHER THE LATTER RAIN BEFORE THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST.
