Psalm 141:1-2 I call to you, Lord, come quickly to me; hear me - TopicsExpress

Psalm 141:1-2 I call to you, Lord, come quickly to me; hear me when I call to you. May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. There is urgency to this prayer. You can tell that the authors heart desperately depends upon God. It is trust like that of a small child who runs to their parent or guardian. Young children immediately seek someone to run to when they are scared or in need. It is build into their design to depend upon another for a time in order to survive. We are designed to live like that in the light of Christ. It is according to Gods design that we look to Him when trials, storms, temptation, or crisis come to our doorstep. He is always ready for that...ready to receive you. Verse courtesy of Psalm-A-Day android app. idelata/apps/psalm-a-day/
