1/1/15 4:17pm I had a dream early this morning. I was sitting on the side of the bed with Adam, and he started moving and jerking. I thought he was having some kind of reaction, when he opened his eyes, looked at me and smiled, and said, Momma! . I told the nurse what Adam was doing, and he told me that Adam had been given a shot that made his kidneys start working, and everything was fine again. Adams blood pressure is higher than it has been since we got here on Sept 2. It is tolerable, but we dont want it to go higher. His heart rate is very high, which makes his breathing rate rapid, and he had spiked a fever. Its so difficult to get everything at a good level, all at the same time. He is scheduled for what I believe is his 27th surgery tomorrow - I am losing count. They hope to be able to close his abdomen. This afternoon, he is sedated but aware, so weve been talking to him, and playing music for him. Its been a quiet 1st day of the new year, so far.
