#1,121: Housing turns into a pain in the ass every year. Never feeling settled, never knowing what’s going to happen or where I’ll end up. Its not a problem paying for it, thats not what I’m saying but it’s a problem when all of a sudden all of your friends are set with back up plans and a set future and you’re stuck with no options but yourself, to potentially be living alone or with a stranger. Freshman year was a struggle during this because I not only stressed about it, it affected my parents. Who the hell wants to see their mother crying because her daughter doesn’t have set friends, or set plans. My parents during housing were willing to pay for extra money last year just so I can get a single dorm..to live alone but not have to deal with friendship problems. Of course I wouldn’t ask for my hard working, rising at 2 am to work, to pay for a stupid shit like housing just so I can feel content. Housing caused so many problems last year and set me into the deepest depression I was ever in. I thought this year could be different but this time, I’m just trying to run away from it. I told my parents and my family I had set plans, that things could work out this year so now that it might not..well i’d rather save them that stress and heart break and deal with it on my own.
