$1.50 for a coke from the machine. I think to myself, I have lots of change in my purse. Ill use some smaller coins. I put in a nickle. The machine accepts. I put in a dime. It doesnt like that. It spits it back. I put in more dimes, but it doesnt like those either. Ok, I give up. I put in 6 quarters and now the machine says I have $1.55 credit. Great. I push the button for the coke. The machine says exact change necessary and spits back my 6 quarters BUT insists on keeping my nickle, leaving me with a 5 cent credit. I dont have any more nickles and the machine wont take dimes, which means I cant USE the 5 cent credit. I now also cant use my 6 quarters because it wants exact change. Im so glad we have this awesome machine to make our lives less complicated. (Yes, Im cranky... probably from dehydration and the inability to get my next caffeine fix.)
