1. According to Romans 6:4c, 12 & 18, VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIVING means:- • Living a new life that radiates the righteousness of Christ. • Not letting sin control the way we live; and not giving in to sinful desires. • Becoming a slave to righteous living. That is yielding our spirit, soul, and body to living for Jesus. 2.The consequences or results of living a victorious Christian life are: • A life of holiness. • Freedom from the dominion of sin. 3.The key challenges to living the victorious Christian life are: • The sinful human nature and its desires. • Worldly attractions. 4(a).God’s power can help us live victoriously when: • We get united with Christ through faith in what He has accomplished for us on the cross(ie His death) and His resurrection. • We consider ourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. • We present every aspect of our lives to righteous living. ( b). We must do the following to maintain victorious Christian life in Nigeria today: • We must resolve never to give in to the ungodly influences around us. • We must be careful of what we give our attention to. For example, the books we read, the movies we watch, what we listen to. All these eventually affect our attitude and thought life; and “we are what we think”(Proverbs 23:7). • We must create time for personal Bible study and prayers. It has great benefits.
