(1) Chapter two 5/05 This is the teaching of Jesus the Christ whom the Living God spoke through in these last days, In the book found in the New Testament of the Bible named Hebrews we read that God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the Worlds. Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Our Lord said if ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love, John 15:10. Jesus said he that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him. The word of God is what we want and we must have it to be right with God. The word of God and faith are one of the same, the Bible says in Romans10:17; so then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. In the Hebrews letter chapter 11:1, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The six verse says but without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Satan knows we want to be right with the God who made us so Satan gives us something to think about other than God or what God has said. He tricks us so even the religious among us believe different things about God and his only begotten Son our savior. There are those among us who don’t know the Bible because they did not search for wisdom and knowledge like you search for gold and silver recorded in the second chapter of Proverbs. They reason in their own mind what their relationship is with God. Some of them will say God spoke to them in a dream or when walking in a certain place or they were meditating for a long time and God told them something which simply put is not the truth. I know the Bible; I have been studying the book for over twenty six years. I don’t say this to puff myself up, but for you to understand this isn’t a joke, its life and death. I know the truth and I want you to know the truth because God wants fruit, you and I are the fruit God wants, he has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. You probably don’t know that you can be alive and dead at the same time do you. I will prove it the way we prove something in the Christian religion, which is to show in the Bible where we get the teaching is the proof because we just read that’s how God is talking to us. In the first book of the Bible named Genesis we read of God creating all things and then man. Genesis 1:26; 27, And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created him; male and female created he them. In the second chapter verse eight the Bible says, And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed, Genesis 2:15; 16 and 17; And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. We see in Genesis 3:6 when they broke the commandment and ate the fruit of the tree they did not drop dead, they became the walking dead, the spiritual dead and we see God still helped (2)them. The same as he helps us because we all have fallen short of the glory of God recorded in Romans 3:10. Also in the book of Matthew the eight chapter and the twenty first verse; And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. In the next verse Jesus says unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. Another word we all become the walking dead because we all broke some command of God. Some of us broke more of them then others not knowing or willfully knowing but it makes no difference we all sinned somehow and that is why we must be born again and why Jesus had to die on the cross. Now we must also not take the Word of God out of contact, you know what I mean like some people want the Bible to fit their mind or their way of thinking so they find a place in the book like John3:16 and say they believe. Then one of the TV preachers or the hometown boy turned good is telling them to call out to God in the name of Jesus to come into your heart so you can be born again, they call it a sinners prayer, they take it from the letter to the Romans in the tenth chapter. If you study the whole tenth chapter you will understand that is not what the Bible writer is saying. Also there is no place in the Bible recorded were anybody ever did call out to God or accepted God to be converted. Paul tells us of his heart’s desire and prayer to God is that Israel might be saved. Then he goes on to explain why they were not saved. He said in verse three because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness. This is what I am trying to bring out, even thought they had zeal for God, they were still lost. And why were they lost, because they did not know the way of God. Today we have almost the same problem, a lot of people and I mean a lot, were talking in the millions just don’t know the truth. But they got something with God like when he did something for them, which he does help all. Or their happy with their religion even thought it can not be found in the Bible as long as the feeling of I am ok and God will understand. They reason God knows what I been through and I am going to heaven, I just know it. So for the person who don’t have the truth or the Word of God but is still satisfied with what they got, the truth will not help them. We have all sinned and we all are marching to the furnace as recorded Matthew 3:12 and 13:42 and 13:50. In the gospel of John, John 3:16 almost everybody heard and if you didn’t hear it, I will quote it. “For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. If you think about what it says here, “to believe in him”. Another words, hear what Jesus commands and do it, which is what believing is about. In the book of Hebrews 5:8 and 9 it states, though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. So from this scripture we can plainly see that believe and obey are the same. Here are some of the scriptures that tell from Gods’ word what he expects from each of us. Please read and study the verses and apply them to your life so that we may all meet together in heaven. I look forward to seeing you there. HEAR THE WORD, (Romans 10:17) So then faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Matthew 7:24) Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock ( Matthew 7:25) and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. (Matthew7:26) Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them will be like the foolish man who built his house on the sand. Matthew7:27) The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell and great was its (3) fall. BELIEVE THE WORD (Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is rewarder of those who seek Him. (Mark 16:15) And he said unto them, Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation, (Mark 16:16) He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. NOT BY FAITH ONLY, (James 2:18) But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” (James 2:19) You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. (James 2:20) But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? (James 2:24) You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. REPENT, (Acts 2:38) Peter said unto them, “Repent and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of you sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 17:30) “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent. (Luke 13:3) I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. CONFESS BELIEF, (Matthews 10:32) Then everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in Heaven. (Matthew 10:33) But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven. (Acts 8:36) And as they went along the road they came upon some water; and the eunuch said; “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” (Acts 8:37) And Phillip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said,” I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” MUST BE BAPTIZED, Baptism per Strong’s Bible Dictionary: to immerse, submerge,-to make whelmed, ie. Fully wet. (Acts 22:16) ‘Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’ (1 Peter 3:18) For Christ also died for our sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that he might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit; (1 Peter 3:19) in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, (1 Peter 3:20) who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is eight persons, were brought safely through the water.( 1 Peter 3:21) Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you- not the removal of dirt from your flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3) Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized in Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death? (Romans 6:4) Therefore, we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the death through the glory of the Father, so that we too might walk in newness of life (Romans 6:5) For if we have become united with him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection. Even Jesus Was Baptized (Mark 1:9) in those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. (Mark 1:10) Immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the Heavens opening and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him; (Mark 1:11 and a voice came out of the heavens; “You are My Beloved Son, in you I am well pleased.” MUST REMAIN FAITHFUL, (John 14:15) If you love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:23) Jesus answered and said to him, if a man loves me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.
