1 Corinthians 15:58 So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything change you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your work in the Lord is never wasted. NCV There are times when we are serving the Lord that things are said or done against us. I believe everyone who is in Christian ministry of any kind will experience this. Each of these challenges are opportunities for growth in our relationship with Jesus, and a testimony of His Strength to others. Or, conversely, each time a challenge comes it may bring thoughts of giving up, walking away and saying it is not worth the hassle. So friends, let us together hold onto the above Scripture and believe it, and live by it. STAND STRONG--We are not alone and weak, we have Jesus Christ as our STRENGTH and PROTECTOR, and the Holy Spirit within us in POWER. GIVE OURSELVES --Only change when the Holy Spirit guides us into change. Do not change because of people or circumstances caused by people. Keep serving the Lord whole heartedly and joyfully. DONT GIVE UP --Whatever we are doing for the Lord will not be wasted. He will take our words and actions, regardless of what others may be saying, and use them for His Kingdom. When challenges come as we are serving the Lord, let us keep our focus on Jesus and not allow ourselves to focus on the words or actions of others. Also, workers in the Kingdom together need to encourage one another, and pray for one another. As well, we need to be honest and accountable, asking for prayer and support of trusted, Godly people when needed. ……
