First time I did this a year or so back, I ended up jotting down a list of heavy books that challenged me emotionally and intellectually. This time, lasting impression focuses on those most impressionable years—and cheats a little on that phrase 10 books.... Illusions by Richard Bach (read that one on my own) 10. The Hobbit by J.R.R.
