1. Doesnt matter who says what.... 2. Doesnt matter how much money dey throw in... 3. Doesnt even matter how many international curriculum benchmarks are done... The TRUTH remains that; demoncrazy Matric results are much weaker thn de Bantu Education I attended back in the 80s (now u know Im older dan u...kikikiki)...and thats FACT!... We created an AnimalFarm like country, where a few pigs eat well and become fat while de rest remain uneducated and unemployed...Sad... #Lesson# When a car has a glat tyre DONT overhaul de engine, respray, change all globes, change front suspension, fit new chinese import cheap retreads....Fix whats broken...ONLY change the flat tyre. #Ask Uncle Bob in Zim...he retained the British O-Levels. Hence Zims education systrm remains far better than Sas by faaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr.... So Uncle Bob didnt, doesnt and wont like de British...BUT he was and still is ...to like deir better education system. What did we do? Its sad that some of us that interact with young people on youth develooment matters encounter people whose communication skills are just non-existent...their arithmatic skills is only good enough to count social grant money and Lotto numbers... When I finished addressing a group two weeks ago, some remarked afterwards; Eish your English was too high...Iyo! Better curriculum products could not cope with (I wont vote for them...sorey checkers) BantuEducation product...Yet they are the highest number of unemployed....Who will employ an under-educated, unskilled young person? Truth is with or without Matric or NCV certificate...they are under-educated. Its sad! Solution: 1. Let dem be pushed back to 50% as a minimum pass mark. 2. Push the standards back up there... 3.Do away with dis moderation up and down business. 4. Bring back discipline in schools... 5. Vote for me next year. I am the next Minister of Education
