OK have to post videos in off times! The internet is tres slow! first week in Shenzhen, China has definitely been an interesting experience! Major culture shock. sooo many people, very fast paced and hardly anyone speaks english (not even the hotel staff). Shenzhen is an industrial city but is definitely modernizing and in transition. It is really not westernized like Hong Kong or Shanghai. Really no Americans here so me and my colleagues get the what are YOU doing here looks daily! LOL! Me even more for obvious reasons. Its rather interesting to watch the culture. Women walk with arms locked while laughing and talking. Men walk very closely together too. The food is so interesting. Walk in Wal-mart to see chicken feet, live lobsters, various fish and all kinds of unique foods. Pork is their primary meat of choice! I definitely miss home and this time zone difference is a KILLER! Its 5:18 am and I have been up since 3 am. go figure! But I know God brought me here for a reason so I plan to make the most of it! Pray God makes my purpose and intentions clear here and that I live them out. Being here reminds me of how BIG and AMAZING God is! It also reminds me of his creativity in the creation of his people. Language barriers abound but Smiles are universal. I stand in Awe of Gods sovereignty.
