Water is not normally “Something to Chew Over”. But that is exactly what ICS Team Leader Grace suggested her colleagues do when she came back from her ICS placement in Tanzania last year. She hosted a lunchtime discussion around the global issues of water consumption and water footprints, linking to her ICS projects and how they worked towards overcoming some of these challenges. These discussions have now become a monthly event in her office; offering the opportunity for anyone to lead a session on a topic they feel passionately about. At Raleigh we hold our very own ‘Meaningful Munches’ where we chew over current global issues at the same time as our sandwiches! Why not host your own ‘meaningful munch’ and give your friends, families and colleagues something a bit different to do at lunchtime? What topic would you pick first?
