1. GENERAL OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE (SOUTH-WEST ZONAL FELLOWSHIP) The Annual Officers’ Conference of all BB Officers in the South Western Zone of Nigeria; comprising States from Ekiti, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Osun and Oyo holds between Friday, April 4 and Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Ekiti Anglican High School, Ile-Abiye, Irona, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Each Officer is expected to register with a sum of N2,500.00 (Two Thousand and Five Hundred Naira Only) payable in favour of “The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, South West Zonal Fellowship” at any Skye Bank to Current Account Number: 1770659604”. The Registration Fee covers accommodation, feeding and Conference memorabilia (excluding T-Shirt which shall be sold at the venue). Please, note that this Conference is open to all Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers, Honorary Officers and Officers of Prospective Companies. While each Company should be represented with at least one (1) Officer, every Battalion/Group Council is expected to field not less than ten (10) Officers for the Conference. It is been suggested that each Officer attending should find his/her way to the venue of the Conference as part of expedition training, otherwise the Battalion/Group or the sponsoring Church/Company can arrange corporate means of transportation to and fro the venue. 2. TRAINERS’ RETREAT The 2014 Edition of the Lagos State Council Trainers’ Retreat holds between Friday, April 11 and Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos. All registered and certified Trainers and Training Officers are eligible to attend this compulsory Annual Train-the-Trainers’ Refreshers’ Workshop. The Participation Fee is N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira Only). Kindly, note that the event shall be used to verify the authenticity of the Trainers’ Certificate(s) possessed by each participant and Trainers’ License issued on the provision of both the originals and photocopies of the entire documents. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Tuesday, April 1, 2014 3. OFFICERS’ BASIC I-IV COURSE The Officers’ Basic I-IV Course for 2014 comes up between Friday, April 25 and Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos. The Course Fee is N3,500.00 (Three Thousand and Five Hundred Naira Only); including feeding and accommodation. Officers attending higher Basic Course must come with genuine evidence of having passed the lower Class. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Tuesday, April 15, 2014 4. JUNIOR SECTION TRAIN RIDE TO OLUMO ROCK As a way of celebrating the Children’s Week for 2014, the BB Lagos State Council has scheduled a Train Ride/Excursion for the Junior/Company Section Boys to OLUMO ROCK in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Saturday, May 24, 2014. The Participation Fee per BOY is N2,000.00. However, this event is also open to interested Officers, Patrons and Parents who may wish to accompany the Boys, at the following rate: i.) Officers (including Chaplains) - N2,500.00 ii.) Patrons/Parents - N5,000.00 DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Tuesday, April 29, 2014 5. STATE YOUTH HOLIDAY CAMP The Youth Holiday Camp shall come up between Thursday, August 7 & Monday, August 11, 2014. This program is open to all BB members (including Clergies & Patrons) and BB friends/parents between the ages of 10 & 70 years. Special concession may be given to a few members who are outside this age bracket by the State President on request. CAMP FEE: N6,000.00 (Six Thousand Naira Only) per delegate VENUE: Wesley College, Ibadan, Oyo State Transportation to & fro will be by Train and the Flag-off shall be performed by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Her Excellency Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire who is the Deputy Grand Patron of the BB, Lagos State Council.
