1) Here are some photos from day 26 2) Youve probably already heard on the news, but if you havent, theres a huge water crisis here. An entire regions water has been contaminated by an algae bloom, and its BAD. All the fruits in the stores which were misted had to get thrown, restaurants are shuttered, bottled water has been sold out for days in every nearby town, and theyre sending in Red Cross workers to distribute water and police to keep there from being riots over that distribution. Its severe enough they cant even bathe in the contaminated water or boil it clean! Please keep these people in mind, and hope for a speedy resolution. Im only passing through for a day and feel the strain of not knowing if there will be potable water... these people are having to live with that as a constant reality.
