1. Im interested to know whether anyone has read the book The Contented Little Baby Book by Gina Ford & whether they followed the routines set out in them? Specifically: How old was bub when you started the routine? I am having difficiculty with the 3.30 afternoon nap, she wont settle at this time. any advice? How old was bub when he started sleeping through the night? 2. Every time our baby is unsettled my hubby wants to give her a dummy. I dont know why but I get angry about the thought of her having a dummy. I think it is because I know it will be hard work in the long run when it keeps falling out etc. I feel giving her a dummy is like giving up. Am I being silly or should I stick it out with the no dummy rule? 3. Does anyone elses 4month old feed ALOT? Our LO is breast fed and feeds 2.5hourly during the day and 3hourly at night. 4. Would love to hear other mums experiences on either the Mirena or implanon. 7. My 11 week old has begun crying in his car seat (capsule actually). When he was younger hed just fall asleep in it and when hes tired he will sleep in it but if hes not tired hell just cry. Is it because he associates sleep with it? Ive heard overtired babies can dislike the carseat but its the opposite for him? I dont remember my first son being like this 8.
