1. Its good to have a descriptive term to promote your highest potential or your historical background.but no term can be more than the behavior and character of its people. Hard work, honesty, intelligence, and industry, sharing and caring say much more in reality than a glorious title .Negro, Black or African American, (Indian, Native American, or Indigenous American, Mexican American,Chicano, or Latino, and Hispanic,) While they all have an element of truth they all can not describe in totality who the people are the term is supposed to represent. So as a group of people evolve so will their names reflect their Evolution, so relax and enjoy the ride. The human being has many characteristics and many sides to their personality and one name ,a few common habits, and a common physical body that you are familiar with can not describe who they are Totally. For that you will need many names, for we are a PEOPLE IN TRANSITION or CHANGE. To change for the better you must have a flexible mind and an open heart, and an appreciation of history, to appreciate our differences is to see our commonality and we must do both.
