A young uninsured motorist failed to give right of way pulling right out in front of them. There was no time to slow down or avoid impact with the car. On impact, Jim & his wife Brandi flipped over the front of the car and down the street onto the concrete. They were both wearing safety helmets and other gear but still received many injuries requiring emergency surgeries. On impact, Jim broke both feet which required surgery to place metal titanium plates on the top of his left foot. Brandi broke her left femur, knee & toes which required surgery to insert a metal titanium rod inside her femur bone. It gets worse. Texas has laws in place that prevents someone taking their house, car & other property in a personal injury lawsuit. So if a motorist is uninsured and they do not have the cash on hand to pay any court ordered settlement to the victims then the injured have little recourse. Basically, victims just have a piece a paper from the court to hang on their wall saying their are owed money. Pay it Forward... gfwd.at/1oF0Pv6
